The game

The daily case is free. Suspects are fictional characters played by an AI; their words are generated on the fly and occasionally the AI will say something odd — that's the nature of the machine, not a hidden clue. Cases, characters, and text are our copyright; share your results as much as you like.

Case Files Club

• Monthly (£2.99/mo): renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do any time from your Stripe receipt or by emailing us — access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Lifetime (£14.99): one payment, access for as long as Alibi operates. Membership is stored in your browser — keep your receipt email, which restores access on a new device or after clearing your browser.
• Refunds: since this is digital content available immediately, statutory cancellation rights are waived at purchase — but if something's broken or you're unhappy in the first 14 days, email us and we'll sort you out. We're one person and a very industrious AI; we don't do hostage negotiations over £2.99.

Fair play

Don't abuse the interrogation API, attempt to extract solutions programmatically, or use the service to harass the suspects into breaking character at industrial scale. We may block traffic that threatens the service for everyone else.
